Firm Values
To listen and provide responsive counsel.
Attorney-client relationships start by the client telling their story. This can be very difficult. But the nature of litigation is the telling and re-telling of each party's position. My goal is to make telling your story as easy as possible as you pursue justice. I do this by listening to your concerns, keeping you updated on your case, and taking the time to explain the legal process and your legal options as your matter progresses.
To problem-solve with an eye towards the future.
It is important to learn what would help bring resolution for the victim of the unlawful discrimination, and how this fits within available legal options. Sometimes, the matter can be simply addressed in a one-time consultation. Other times, filing a formal complaint with an administrative agency or court is the most viable option for an employee. In all cases, I take a problem-solving approach to how I handle matters.
To create accountability.
Accountability for the harm caused by discrimination, harassment, or a hostile work environment can come in many different forms and is often an important client goal. No one wants what happen to them to happen again or to a co-worker.
Advocating for employees.
